Getting ready to paint the car and was wondering if I shoud do something different.
where would the black end and the silver begin? How far down the car?
...something like this?...exept for the white...
sorry double post...
yeah, thats pretty cool.
Yeah it would be something like that. I was thinking like were the windows start and use that as a line and follow that edge from front to back. Very similar to that Mustang but with more black. I also wanted to include a black bottom silver top option in the poll but it did not make it in.
Meh, Darker colors look better on top anyway. Gives it a "top heavy" look.
Well this is how it turned out. What do you all think. It still needs a wet sand and buff to make it pop. Plus, a nice big intercooler to fill the big opening in front. Might as well get a turbo too. Lol.
Nice man. I want to do that with mine. Black/Purple combo instead.
That does look good.
Damn that looks nice.
Realy good job and color scheme.
i'm impressed, usually i hate body kits and two-tone paint jobs, well done, just take some nightshades to the taillights and you'll be set
nice job bro .........verywell done. it warms my heart to see more 3rd gens making their name known and being modded
Makes me want to paint my Gold 97 like this, black on top gold on the bottom. Very nice.
goddamn it.... I thought I was going to be the only one with a silver modded fucking 3rd gen....
now I have to add another twist to my paint scheme...
car looks good though
^^ i thought u got rid of it :?
yetiman damn nice freaking escort i was going to paint mine that way BUT thought it would look like a police patrol and desist from the idea...BUT DAMN! kudos on urs.!!!!!! =)
Holy crap that looks AWESOME dude!!!
Just final thing to do like you said but DAMN, its freakin sick man!
Unlike scrythe, I like two tone paint jobs (as you can see...lol) and this one is sweet!
No offence scrythe
It's interesting that you would paint your car that way. I was looking at my wife's car a couple days ago thinking about some body work I have to do to it. And was considering a paint scheme like yours. Her Escort is Atlantic Blue, and the sides are OK. And was considering keeping it that way. It's the top front of the hood is dented, roof clear coat is thin, as well as the trunk lid and wing are thin as well. If it has to be repainted, I was thinking of moving away from the monochrome and doing some white where you have the black.
In any case, your car should be killer once finished. Just wondering. Were you planning on putting some big teeth painted into the insert for the front end scoops on the front spoiler. That would be a BIG grin... or or even :mwha: :!:
