on their site is only for zx2's i think, or 3rd gen whichever
andys sells the zxtuner ones, which rob fnally had the company finish, and pro car parts is also cashing in on! rob sold like 100 sets in no time!
he is still thinking of doing second gen tails, and euro diomand clear headlights.
just i know how much it cost the maker to ge teh mold and initial 100 or so out, which is not cheap! i want a set but only casue they woudl be diffretn, and i dont want them chrome, if they do get made, mine will be colormatched to the car, so you have a red dot, and a cler lense for the turnsignal, and a cler spot for the reverse light, and not paint the lense, actually paint over the silver!
if most the euro tails were painted ot match the car, then they wouldnt look so bad!
and altezza is japn , thats why so many is300 owners order the altezza badges couse the car dosent coem that way here!

c'mon now. this forum is supposed to be the most open-minded forum around. and i hate hearing arguments about the most petty thing out there to pick on.
james may not own an escort now, but he still contributes a good deal of valuable information about the subjects we post. besides, i'm under the impression that he owns something non-escort not by choice. his scort died, he needed to get something to get around in that he would have fun with. his first choice was a nissan, but it was taken away from him due to economics. and i also hear him at random times wishing he had a scort again.
seriously, this was a lame post to begin with, and everyone threw in their two cents about it and it got out of hand. so what if someone has their own opinion. at least james didn't buy a pair for his civic.
so lay off, and if that's too much to handle, find another forum!

A true Toyota Altezza is an IS200 powered by a 2L I6 and was designed to mimick (or improve upon) the BMW e46 320i, in nearly every way dynamically, in order to compete with it in 2L touring car cups.
The IS300 that we get here in the states is a heavier 3L beast that's been toned down dramatically in suspension and engine tuning... just like the 3 series BMWs we get here. :wink:

I'm no expert, but I'm guessing it's because us Americans would have laughed at a 2liter inline6. If we're talking beastly, they have the IS430 in the works..
If it was ME, I'd transplant the good ol' Supra engine back into it.. not the N/A junk they have in 'em now.
