Probably has a about 120hp.. so nahh, that couldn't be it. Civics are nice cars.. nothing to get worked up over.. but nice cars. The good thing about the hatches is that they're usually lighter... that's about it.. :? :?

Okay, I can't answer your question at all.. I've got no idea. :?

I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU SAID ALTEZZAS!!!!!! THE NERVE TO BRING UP THOSE UGLY PILES OF CRAP!!!!!!

*is only joking*

Anyway, Civics are nice cars. They're cheap, affordable fuel efficient pocket rockets which have a kick to them. The base Civics have the same amount of power that any Escort GT has.
The only problem with civics is that the resale value is so damn high anyone lookin to spend a few hundred on a second car is forced to turn from Honda.

I would be fine seeing him put in a stereo system, drop it two inches and throw on some tasteful rims. but thats where good taste ends and rice begins. after that, altezzas 5" wings and an ugly body kit.

Never understood Civics myself. Sure Honduh makes a nice car, the reliability and resale value back that up. But after so many modified Civics/Accords/Preludes, they become intensely boring. How can anyone possibly have a unique Honduh anymore? The best way to be truly unique is to leave it alone and don't touch it. Anything else has been done over and over and over again.

Anyone else hate those "When you drive a car you don't have to think about..." commercials?

 I mean, c'mon! What fun is a car that's so boring you don't even think about it? Gimme a car that sputters, backfires, vibrates, screams and threatens to break down every week.. and I'll be a very happy man. Adventures await those who dare to travel in vehicles that require a little thought.

*is thinking he should go buy a new civic, drain the oil.. drive it around, and then tell the service manager, "hey, don't look at me.. I was told you didn't have to think about these cars.. yeah, even when they make that horrible banging sound" *

Beav'

Yeah, i have to say that the current Civic ads are about as exciting as the car itself. Used to be the Civic had an edge on its nearly nonexistant competition, but these days, the Civic Si is a good many notches below the rest in it's [wonderfully] over-populated category.
Maybe the new ad campaign can serve as an explanation for this-Honda is focusing more on the humdrum commuter's wants and needs and less on the wants and needs of the auto enthusiast.
After all, when it comes to aftermarket schmorgasboards(sp?) the Civic's is by far the most ample. This is obviously a symptom of the fact that Honda has (most of) the tuner crowd firmly in it's camp.
If it's easy, they will come.
Hopefully for us as (and them), though, Honda will start importing the Type R.

LMAO   I read that at work and I was busting out laughing Beav. That would be awesome....do it
And yes, I hate those stupid commercials. I like how when you see the highway sign in the Interstate highways in hawaii one, it says H3 or whatever...not Interstate 3. :?

Yeah I just saw that commercial, too. I don't like cars that don't break down. That's no fun! I mean, the fun part is tuning to perfection...

Any paintballers would know what I'm talkin about if you've owned an autococker. Those damn things rock. They're like these mechanical death machines in paintball, and they're EXTREMELY tunable, and very finniky. It's sweet to get one working right, cause when you hear it shoot on the field, it's like this freakin machine that sounds like a pair of garden shears goin at 8bps. It's sweet... if I get a few minutes I'll gas it up and do a video for you guyses.
