I don't know about the LX but the GT is a one piece bumper held on by 9 to 12 bolts, can't remember exactly how many. the bumper 'cover' (actual part you see) is attached to the metal bumper itself and it sits on the two front crossmembers of the frame, body, or whatever you wanna call it (because it's a unibody) of the car. You have to take out your grille, headlights and turn signals to get to these bolts. not to mention I think you gotta lift up the splash guards on the wheel wells to get to some screws...if you've done it before, it'll take less than an hour to get it off your car.

and get some extra screws cauz most of the ones that hold your splash shield in place aren't reusable...and you probably have to take them out with a hammer and a flat screwdriver also.......well...i had to do it like that....

95 Civic Bumper is too wide. About 1.5" from each side. You'll have to cut bumper in the middle take out 2" and bondo it back together. There is better option what I have. It's 90Civic CRX bumper. Same wide but a lot of bondo work under lights. The best way to mount it is. Get a line of metal long enough to be bend [ shape. BNend it so it matches shape of the bumper good and tight and then use long hair bondo to bondo it to the place. 15 Min and it'll be rock solid.! I'll post pics of my bumper when my pics will be developed.

One guy says its too wide, the other says its too narrow. I love the looks of the accord bumper on the LX, so I'll take his word over the other guys that wants to use bondo to put everything together. Sheesh.
Ok..so we know what fits with some work. What kind of mods to make it work? Did you have to cut and refiberglass pieces to make it fit or is it simpler than that? It looks great on the LX....hope you get it painted again soon.
