Well, here's the update after spending some time at my local "pick a part"...you can't find an EGT there but found some wagons , with similar parts....managed to get a few lighters (2) and see how they are hooked up. it is easier to get to by reaching through the ashtray, can't do that on my GT...which i managed to reach from behind and finally got it to come out, only shredding a few fingers slightly

also figured out how the fuse opens, mine was just stuck from no use, so got that worked also

in the end, my fuse is good but tried all 3 lighters that i now have and no juice to any of them, so will have to follow the wires and find out if they are hooked up....

    appreciate all the input, dave

You know, after I hooked up my cigarette lighter, it wouldn't work either. Then after awhile I realized the car had to be turned on to work.

That why I added two more 12 volt accessory sockets that stayed on all the time. Very handy for keeping phones/tablets charged up, and use of the GPS.

Got it all fixed up for now...my stereo guy hooked me up and rewired speakers, and also rewired the lighter to be on constant, so you can charge phone or whatever without key or engine being on...much better
on to the next bunch of problems, thanks all for the help, dave
