Would the mirrors from say a 96+ Escort fit on a 92 LX?.. I Wana get ride of those hard corners..

Anyone done this?

i plan to switch mirrors sometime too, and it doesn´t look it it would be all that hard to remove them, as long as the new ones fit in place and have the same mounting holes or whatever. and wiring too, if you have electric ones

Hehe, well I didn´t want to do this but..

My dad owns an escort.. a 98 LX, so i´ll do a little swap tommorow when he´s at work

Its really easy to take em off, I just didn´t wana waste my time in finding out that they wouldn´t fit if someone could just tell me ; ).. Im just a lazy bastard.

But i´ll let you know tommorow how it all goes.

The 97+ Escort mirrors do fit up.

but as for the ZX2 mirrors...they "look" the same...but they are supposedly different because of the frameless doors that the ZX2´s have
