Well the ass-end is lowered with subs :-? Been considering taking care of the front, but I´m keeping an eye out for a 1g DSM so I´m not gonna spend any more money into the wag.

It´ll shave off what? 30 lbs? that´s not a big difference off a car that started out weighing 2458 lbs. You won´t notice any better handling off just that. lose the passenger seat, rear seat, the spare tire, jack, carpet, interior of the doors, and all the plastic body pieces. That should get rid of about 200 to 250 lbs if not more. Thats when you´d notice better handling. ;-)

taking 30lbs off the front is like putting 60lbs in the rear.. and then removing 90lbs from the car. What do I mean by that? Well, 30lbs is a pretty decent weight savings.. and taking it off the front axle means better weight distribution for better balanced mid corner handling... I bet you can feel it. ;-)

Yeah.. james if you´re saying that 200 pounds will be noticeable, well 30 pounds is a good portion of that! Sure, he should do MORE than just the cf hood if he wants to cut the weight down, but where else can you save 30 lbs in one shot!? (Maybe off your fat gut???) ;)
