Ok so many of us have a verry nice highly modded Escort or ZX2. Many of us still have not updated our insurance policy. As well some (many) of us are looking into full coverage for the first time. My question is, Which insurance agency would be best geared towards the compact tuner. As well what are some of the key notes to look for when searching for an insurace agency.
Hope this helps out alot of people as well as reminds those of us who have forgoten to update our exisiting policy.
Thank you.

Well, I know that I got mine updated when I got my stereo, and they will cover up to $2000, I use State Farm (that may or may not be available in the States). For guys my age though, even though I get a slight discount cause my parents use the same company, I'm still paying $200 a month less than other companies. They have been great for me, and I'm guessing that this thread is something that could help a lot of us, because I know one of the reasons I got this car was because it's one of the best for insurance. I coulda got an older Rustang GT and fixed it up half decent for the money I've put into this car, but with it being a sports car, it's insurance woulda been killer!!!

dunno about modded cars, but a 94 scort gt with liability and an 05 mustang gt with full coverage runs me 114 a month from nationwide. Always treated me pretty good.

same here, i don't know about sport compacts. insurance companies tend to frown on modded vehicles. and there's that ("rumor") post about insurance companies dropping their customers for putting on parts that aren't stock.

but i found that muliple car discount if a good thing. it saved me $200 a year when i bought my truck, and lowered my rates even more when i chose to store my escort for the winter. both cars are liability, w/ a $500 deductable and i pay about a grand a year. oh yeah, with allstate.
