Hi everyone! Two weeks ago I bought a '98 ZX2 in perfect condition. I love this little car! The only problem I have is that I can't find the fuse for the cigarette lighter (which isn't working, grr) so I can plug in my phone or iPod charger. The original owner's manual came with the car and it shows where the fuse SHOULD be, but I don't see it anywhere - it's like one small portion of the diagram in the manual just doesn't exist on my car. I've had a couple other people search for it just to convince myself I'm not crazy. Could my car have an in-line fuse? I searched the forums here and couldn't find anything on this so please forgive me (I'm new to this site) if this topic is covered here somewhere.

I thought it was right next to the fuse box, in a small cover marked "cigar"

That's where it's supposed to be but it isn't. This is driving me nuts. I had a couple more people search for it today and they couldn't find it either.

its way up under the dash, gotta be "al-dente" to reach it.

Way up under the dash like by the fusebox? Is it by itself or with other fuses? Do I have to remove the dash panel to get to it?

Wow! thank you so much for helping to locate our cigar box. LOL My husband looked thru every fuse but we didn't know
about that hidden box. thanks again the pic really helped too.
