This wiring harness was hanging down from below the front of my 92 escort and one day I noticed it was ripped apart. I do not know which wires connect to which. There is a connector with 2 green and 2 blue wires and the other connector had a red, green/red, yellow, and a black. Anyone who is wise to the answer please let me know so I can drive my car without fear again.

Ok, more info:
the harness with the 2 blue 2 green wires are connected to a little cylinder shaped black thing that is attached to the lower part of the engine/tranny. The other 4 wires go up toward the front of the car past the fan and in line with the radiator. I is hard to tell were it goes from there without removing the radiator. I am thinking this sensor unit with the blue and green wires has something to do with the fan operation, i think it might be a heat sensor or something. But anyway, all i need is for someone to open there hood and look down in that space between the fan and the intake. if you look hard in there you will see a black sensor with 2 green and 2 blue wires coming off of it. You can also look below the car as i did in the picture. The it will attach with a harness to the above mentioned wires. I just need to know which wires attach to which and my car will be saved. Please someone help me out with this.

I am thinking this sensor unit with the blue and green wires has something to do with the fan operation, i think it might be a heat sensor or something.

I don't have a 92 so I can't comment on which wire goes where but I can tell you that sensor should have nothing to do with fan operation. It looks like it goes into the tranney. Its probably your reverse sensor switch. I bet you back up lights don't work.

I think you are right or at least on the right track because the reverse lights have a red/green and a black wire connected to them. I still need someone with an manual transmission to take a look and tell me which wire connect together. I have a friend with a 93 but his is a automatic ans is completely different. I tried to find a reverse sensor or tranny sensor, ect.. that on google for this car but non looked like the black thing in the pic.

Yep, that's it. I will start Google "back up light switch" and hopefully I can find a pick of one installed to see which wires it connects to. Thanks a lot. So if anyone knows how the wires in the above pics hook up to the back up light switch please let me know.
