There's a local guy wrecking a 1990 Mazda 323...as far as I know they're built on the same chassis as the Protege...which would mean that some parts would probably transfer over...

Anyways...is there anything on that car I should grab?

my guess would be suspension and body. i know u can use the 323 grill on an escort.

Interior stuff. Door moulding and door sills (if you have a 2dr Escort), dash parts, HVAC console, kick panels, misc trim pieces, misc door hardware, seat belts, side mirrors, etc. See my photo thread for some of the stuff.

As far as suspension goes, there was nothing on the 323 that was better than the Escort IIRC.

None of the body parts are directly compatible, but anything's possible with some mod/fab skills. Neuman's copper car, for example.
