If you could only attend ONE meet this season, this would have been the one to make an appearance at.
In one word, this meet was AWESOME!!
When I first heard about this event, I thought it might not be such a hot idea to merge all the Ontario-based car clubs together because of some kind of animosity between all the different groups of cars.
But this wasn't the case at all at today's fall cruise.
I couldn't have met a nicer bunch of people.
I think everyone who came out today shared a common interest - tuning cars, and in doing so had a great appreciation for all the efforts put into making each individual automobile unique.

Few people I want to thank in particular...
Fixitmattman, and Badazzlegnd for actually showing up and representing the Escort community.
The rest of you...
I'd also like to give a BIG thanks to Prafull from the C7 team for putting together such a successful event, and for selling me his stock Celica wing for $25. :D :D :D

Here are some pics of the event....

I coudn't agree more. That's gotta be the most fun I had driving in a while.

I think a moment of silence is in order for the 2nd gen GT that got wrapped around a light pole and tossed its engine another 20-30ft away from the car. :( I'm not sure yet whether the silence is for the car, driver, or both. The 11 o'clock news will direct my sympaty appropriately  . It ended up causing some chaos to try and get around the accident, with police briefly detouring us through a strip mall 8O The GT ( and the areostar that squared it) wern't part of the tour.

Other than that it was A M A Z I N G :D

The fall colours of the landscape were A M A Z I N G :D

The roads were A M A Z I N G and very fun to drive.

I caught myself smiling behind a civic hatch that was somewhat struggling up some of the hills. Ah the superior (and tourque happy) 1.9, gotta love it. (I know..... I'm full of it. If I could only get rid of the auto tanny I would,....... then I'd,.... )

All you Ontario people need to start getting out more :!: :!:

***cough***

We were almost out numbered by the protege's (only 1)

Gotta give credit to C7 for doing an excellent first time job of organizing so many cars, well done

See you all next meet :)
