    HI! i`v got a ford escort -96 1.8 zetec.
The problem is that the break pressure sudenlly is gone, and then you´ll need to pump on the pedal three times before anything happens. and the the breaks leavs on! it is only the front right break that leavs on!!! there is no air in the system.

    Brakes

I'm not an Escort expert but it sounds like you have at least two problems. My guess is your front caliper is frozen or sticking. As far as having to pump up the brakes goes, that's a classic symptom of air in the lines, I'd bleed the brakes anyway.

With the car running and with the emergency brake on to you still have to pump up the pedal? If not your rear brakes may be worn or need adjustment.

After you pump the pedal hold it HARD for one minute. Does it sink slowly to the floor? If so your master cylinder is leaking.

    I hope this helps.

the break hose was broken. The inner side of the hose has decomposed and the pressure wont flow aether way. and when it`s ABS Breaks on it i´v got to bleed all the breaks. now it works fine! Thanks for you´re reply.
