Well i finally finished everything up on my 1990 ford escort GT. Its back on the road everything was going great until i got home. My right front brake is stuck. It is stuck on. I was wondering why i wouldnt roll back on a hill that my truck usually rolls back on well now i know why. What would cause the brake to stick??????

o.k. dude, well what you should look at is the piston inside the caliper, it probably seized. check the rubber lines going to it aswell(look for condition and leaks).
First: if you know how to bleed the brakes, open the bleeder valve with the wheel off the ground and see if it spinnes more freely.
If the caliper seized it would eventually burn through the pad to the point at which the piston stopped moving out. it makes alot of heat in the process so take that into concideration. :-Y
good luck, let me know what happens... :)

Well guess what i go out this morning after letting the car cool down from the brake being stuck and to my suprise i let the parking brake off and it rolled forward. HMMMMMMMM wtf???? why did it stick and then let off. I AM REALLY CONFUSED. HELP ME PLEASE. I will prolly end up replacing the whole right side brake system since i can get a rotor pads and caliper for 30 bucks and ill do the left side pads even though they are brand new. I am still confused though oh well.
