    For anyone needing the rubber bumpers that turn off the brake lights they are availbale at tascaparts.com

    I ordered mine las Thursday and received them in 3-4 days. This seems helpful to those who don't have dealers near them, or dealers say they are discontinued.

    They may even carry discontinued parts such as fuel tank o rings and locking rings.

    Part number is E7GZ-7583-A

    And not likely either of us will ever be bothered with the problem again, unlike replacing it with another piece of rubber that's eventually going to dry out and break like the original.
