bp gtr engine
im planning on putting a gtr engine in my car. does any one know how much horsepower and torque this engine puts out? this website saids it produces 235hp http://www.adelaidejap.com.au/mazda.htm but ive always heard that it made 210hp can anyone clarify this?

do you guys think its a good idea to order the gtr engine from www.corksport.com it is going to cost 2 grand or do tou think its better to get the 180 hp gtx engine and spend the extra $1000 dollar towards building that engine to 250hp since that motor only cost $1000

how come you dont have that much boost being run from your turbo? Im new to the turbo ting but i understand most of it so some of the questions i ask might be stupid. If you get a boost controler can you set it to run about 8psi on the street then change it to run 14psi on the track? and can the gt engine handle this much boost to get it to 265hp without blowing it and can it still be a daily driver

thanks james all of this helps. im going to reasearch all the possibilities on putting turbo on my egt then %100 sure will start the rpoject in summer when i get out og school and have time.

I also notice that you have a APEXi S-AFC. Do I really need a fuel controler if i turbo my car and what is the use of it?

should i just go to the junkyard and look for a intercooler from the same car you got it from? either the chrysler or the starion and from what year to what year of those car could i find it in?
