Black tails with gunmetal rims and tinted windows would look pimpin! Is that your setup?
hehe. i like to call me setup 'stock' lol. there was tint on my car, but it was like green and shitty, so i got it removed, as of right now, the stock rims aer on. if i get rims, i'd like maybe a bronze or gunmetal

They didn't make red tails for the EGT, at least no that I've ever heard. There are red tails from the Tracer that fit the LX Sedan and the Wagon. I don't think they had an all red hatch/notchback tail. if so then why hasn't anyone ever just used them before instead of taking the time to remove the lenses and tint them?

i could be wrong , dont quote me but i will try to look around and see if i can come up with any thing. but i will deffinatly let you know if i do.
I dunno if you will find any all red stock lamps... I've never seen some. never.

But You can paint them candy apple red, I think it was Zeemax that did that.

I'd go for red... cleans up the look while keeping it legal and easy to see in bright sunlight.

that was one of my concerns..i know black would be a lot easier to notice and get more attention frmo polie maybe, but red would probably not get very much

Tracer sedans have all red tails (as do the wagons) and most of them have a black moulding/thinige at the bottom. a lot of guys on here have swapped the tracer tails in (I think Beaverboy has tracers tails on his wagon) as opposed to painting Escort tails, it's easier to just change a few screws than mess with the sealing of the unit after you pull the lens off. But I still have never seen any hatchback models with all red tails that weren't painted, I think someone on here ("Teal" in the username, but the rest eludes me) has a great set of painted red tails that he put pics up of, I'll try to find that thread and put up a link to it for the pics.

but I used the testors clear red adn a heavy duty clear coat finish, cleaned the lights very well, extremely lightly sanded with soem model sand paper, not sure what grade..then used many light coats to finish
