I am looking to replace the plug-wires on my engine and want to know if anyone has found the "Cadillac" of plug-wires for this engine. I currently have the Escort-Focus set, which, although that are not causing any problems, are way too long and look messy. Plus, when you put them back on the plugs, they don't snap on and you never know if they are on right or not (I hate that!). Has anyone found a quality set that works well? Thanks.

r u using the ones from escortfocus.com? i heard their parts r poor quality and over priced. i'm using 8mm bosch spiral core wires and they do snap on. cheaper than the ones from EFP.

I am running the Nology Hotwires on the blue car. There have been a few people on here that don't agree with me, but I like them. They are definitely pricy, but they are real solid, and each plug wire has it's own ground strap.

I am a firm believer in Motorcraft plugs and wires or Autolite Professional wires and Autolite plugs. I've learned my lesson using cheapie and no-name garbage. You get what you pay for most of the time.

I bought some cheapy $15 wires for my last zetec car, they looked just as good and performed just as good as the stock wires that came on the car. I'm not sure what I have on my sedan, they are definitely replacement wires but heck if I know what brand they are. All I know is they are red, and don't match crap on my car.

Please keep in mind that Pextor has a knack for getting cheap stuff to work perfectly for him. I don't know how he does it, but when I figure it out, I will share it with all of you.

Ford Racing wires for a 96-98 2v 4.6L Mustang GT. They are 9mm and cost less than the EFP ones. Plus you have 2 sets. Some re overly long but if your have a plug wire crimp tool you can shorten the long ones.
