I'm venturing into unchartered waters working on the project off my nut gt. I had to loosen everything on the firewall to replace the right front brake line. Upon putting everything back, I noticed that the vacuum hose is missing from the sensor mounted to the right front strut tower. I did not remove it, and I can't find where the hose is supposed to be. Any one know where it's supposed to be? Pictures of where the other end location would be awesome. I have no idea where it is supposed to be. And unfortunately, I have but one gt. The fleet of LX's are of no use here.

Well, the BAP sensor (same part as a MAP on CFI engines) doesn't require a vacuum line going to it, as it senses atmospheric (or barometric) pressure. Putting a vacuum line on it would tell your ECU that the car is running in outer space, and would enrich the fuel supply to compensate.

So I'm not blind (or stupid) because I still don't see a vacuum hose to go to it. Which makes sense since barometeric pressure is a weather issue. So obviously, Escorts can't make weather. But aparently fly in outerspace though.
