well today, was not unlike any normal day, infact, it was a normal day....but, it has a great twist.....

i went to school, came home, went out with cleveland.....came home, and waited for my next bunch of plans.....right before that, i got a very startling phone call from a friend of mine....

apparently the authorities have found out about our streetracing website...and he could possibly be brought up on alot of charges....including copyright infringement,piracy, and stealing webspace from att.....now, i also found out...that, anyone included in parts of this website, may also be brought up on these charges...and when he said this, my heart dropped to the floor, that means....me....yes me.....i could possible be brought up on some of these charges, and not to mention some of my close friends...and my older brother......right now, i´m worried...but, to tell you the truth, i have a feeling someone is gonna take the fall,...and, with how my friend sounded over the phone, he was very very freaked out and upset about this ordeal......i really dunno what to think, or what to do....like within the next few weeks, i´ll find out,but, i dunno......the list of charges goes on.....

so, if something happens, i´ll keep you guys posted....and, if something happens to me...not saying it will, but, guys it´s been fun.......thnx for the tips,and everything....thanks......

I say we mob the sight and get em caught up in trying to figure out who is who.Give me the add and I´ll start hitin it and even contribute some things to make it an accidental type thing.or better yet.....

not to be a jerk but if you do something as stupid (IMHO) as street racing you need to be willing to accept what it brings you.

now chances are he broke ATT user policy. so he need to read it and all that he agreed to. I don´t see how you could be tied to it very easily accept that you have a partnership with them....trust me you do. so you could be held somewhat liable for it. however if you didn´t agree to the terms I´m not sure if that applies to you.

what type of copyright infringment?

P.S. almost all of that at worst is a fine. depending on how the DMCA is involed. hell they might take your first born then *L*. the DMCA is a horrible copyright protection law(s).

i´m only 17...and right now, i really think nothing is going to happen....

...ooohh...and....we never actually street raced, there never really was any talk fo street racing.....it was more or less away for us to keep in touch while everyone is in school....and college

you should be fine then. you can´t enter into contract at 17 so you probably are not subject to their AUP. however if your copying copyrighted stuff then you would be.

doesn´t sound like you have anything to worry about then
