I am looking at getting the B&M Pro Edge shifter for my EGT. I was wondering does it replace the existing bushing at the shift lever pivot or do you have to use your old ones. If anyone knows let me know. I really want it.
Thanks Alot!undefined

It does not come with the bushings. But you will most likely want to get new ones. They are like 65 cents each.

What do you mean your S2000 is faster then my escort?

Not the bushings at the base of the shifter, the ones at the ball, Ford calls it the boot. See I have a vibration from the shift lever and I am assuming the boot is the culprit. The boot is now obsolete from ford and now I am wondering if the B&M Shifter will fix my problem and well, make me go faster ;-)

I know that the b & m shifter does not come with the "boot" as we have one installed at work in a protege 5 (they are the same shifter). However you can still get the "boot" from Mazda. It would be the same as a 1992 Protege GT 1.8 DOHC.

I´ve got a question about the B&M..

Everywhere I´ve seen it, it says it fits 97up scorts.. will it fit my 93 LX with a little modification? Or is there one somewhere that I´m not finding listed for the 91-96 scorts?
