I was just wondering if anyone else has ever experienced this problem:

I took my car in to have an axle seal changed and they were unable to pop the driver side axle out! The guys at Fastlane think that there is something wrong with the clip that holds the axle in. Now I also went to talk with the guys Mr. Transmission and they think it might be something wrong with the diff. Going to drop it off there this week and let them take a look at it!

But I thought I would try getting some info from guys that have tranny work done on the 5spd man. in GT´s!

ahh went to put my tranny in today and couldnt get it in.. nobody told me you have to use a engine support bar to make the enging not drop down, oh boy talk about a problem. so I got to save up some more money and get it done for 300... errr problems problems...

yeah there´s a clip on the axle ends... chances are it´s bent and got stuck in the female end. I don´t know how you´d fix something like that.

I recently fought with one of those little clips for like 12 hours I ended up taking the inner cv joint apart and cleaning all the grease out then I clamped on some vice grips and put a bar against em and beat the livin snot outta it.It wasn´t pretty and I wasn´t happy but eventually I got it done.
