Fuses are good
all door light switches good.

What could be causing it? it doesnt work on both sides.

1. What is the module under the seat? Does that have anything to do with it?

that module under the driver seat is the seatbelt control. most of the time this problem is usually due to a failing ignition switch so if ur brake light and fuel cutout light on the dash slowly fade in and out or r always on and there would be times where the engine won't crank, the ignition switch would be faulty(very common with these cars)

The motors wear out, or the track becomes jammed.

Its not the ignition switch, Its never gave me any trouble.

The mechanisms work fine, as a matter of fact, one of them I just replaced a while ago.

Key OFF.

Disconnect the passive restraint control module connectors.

Measure the voltage on the "Y" wires at passive restraint control module connector C1.

Key ON.

Measure the voltage on the "BK/Y" wire at passive restraint control module connector C2.

Are the voltages greater than 10 volts?

well i got em working. come to find out the fuse was missing.

Is the fuse for both the driver and passenger side? Or is there a separate fuse for both?
