Ok this is my first post so ill try to be accuret as to my problem, My driver side auto seat belt cable has come off track and is all bunched up and jammed the only way it will move is if i manually move it. is there a way to fix this or am i up a creek?

You are up the creek. The plastic shielding over the cable got messed up and will not let the belt travel any more.

have fun finding one at a junk jard. If you go to the Ford Dealer and ask for one they want like $350 for the hole dang assembly. Most of the escorts in the junkyard have the seatbelt motors taken out and you cant get any other escort motors to work (in the case of a two door not a four door cause there are plenty of four door motors out there.

One of mine didn't work and i hated hitting my head on the other one. Thus, i manually moved them back to the "closed" position and unplugged them. I wouldn't worry about them. I just lift the chest belt over my head every time i get in the car.
