Auto Short Shifter

I love it that my first post is going to be in a decade old thread but here we go. I am 6'4" tall and that button drives me crazy I will be happier once I install cruise control but until then I've got to get that darn shifter off my leg. I have a pipe cutter in can do as previously stated in this thread however if there is more current up-to-date information for a better solution I would appreciate it.
