I have an 88 exp, the car will be lightened and super charged, shooting for 1800lb at 145hp.
If I were go higher on the HP what would you say it the cut off point the stock brakes need upgrading?

    Thanks.

I have a V6 in My Escort Gt I use Dot 5 fluid and that the only upgrade but I got all quality brake parts in there.

don't forget V6 make 168hp on dyno and is much heavier then a 4 cylinder and my original brake setup works great even on long track days.

Thanks for the info. I thought stock would work with good pads and stuff.
