I have a 95 GT with K&N cone filter, pacesetter header and 2.25" catback system. Noticed that my idle was hovering around 600 so I jumpered the ´10´ and GND pins and reset idle screw. Now the car idles fine around 750-800 but sounds like it´s sucking through a straw. Sounds like ASTHMA! Power is down too at low rpms. Anyone know how I can get it to decent idle w/out sounding like it´s about to pass out?

No shakes when left to idle. Car does do some bucking though, when I go up through the gears. Before upshifting, if I hold in gear, car will buck. This isn´t redline shifting either, just normal driving. Thought might be related to idle problem but doesn´t seem connected.

Since you increased the airflow to your engine, you might need to reset the spark timing also to alow for proper combustion. Advancing the timing a bit usually raises idle speed a bit. Also, the sucking air sound could be due to the increased air flow, especially with the cone filter. The stock airbox is designed to eliminate eccess noise from the intake. I put a K&N Extreme flow lid on the air cleaner for my Mustang (Basicly makes a cone filter for carbed engines) and I heard a loud sucking all the way home and thought I had a vacuum leake. It was more like a sigh of relief from my engine.
