Hey... that'd be nice! I want to put in a folding armrest with a little container on it now that you mention that! Time to take some measurements and hit up the bone yards!

I had bought a jeep cherokee console for my computer game shifter. I was comparing the two and with a little nip and tuck I could get it to fit. The only problem I can envision is hitting my elbow when shifting. I'm not sure what kind of clearance I need.
IMHO that whole console wasn't well thought of. The cup holders need inserts, there is no armrest, no real coin holders and the rear ashtray always falls out.

Mine came with the insert already in it. As for shifting... mines only a pathetic autmoatic :( . I'll see what I can do and let you guys know how it works out!

MX-3

I have one for my 95 Tracer off of the 92 MX-3 that I'm stripping. Exact fit it seems like, Only problem I'm having is the the shade of brown being a little darker than the rest of my tan interior.

you could try a mustang armrest maybe the center console would work. My 91 mustang had a armrest you can open up and put stuff in and you can order an aftermarket top that has a cupholder belt in it. Dont know if it fits right or anything but just an idea

I've seen universal armrests at places like JC Whitney. When I had my Escort I saw one there that I thought would go pretty good, but I never got around to getting it.
