Think they can unless there's a sign specifically saying they can't.

Yeah, it's the same in the States. Unless it is specifically prohibited, it's just a courtesy for them to stay out of the left lane - but a lot of the drivers don't seem to care.

In connecticut, trucks can drive in the left lane on 2 lane highways but not on 3 lane highways.

I've never seen a sign anywhere in eastern Canada stating that trucks were to keep the right.... there's only this one tunnel in Montreal where they need to keep the center lane, if they don't they hit the lighting on the ceiling of the right or left lane....

other than that, free as a bird. I would appreciate if they weren't allowed except for passing, but such is life...

Same. Even passing, they're passing too slow. But I mean if you can see a car behind you, get the fuck out of the way. Just like I expect other people in cars to do, I don't care if you're a truck.

Forget the trucks, coach busses are the absolute worst. Every time I come down the 400 there's normally at least 2 or three of those guys only doing 110 in the left lane holding up traffic. They absolutely will not move no matter what. Most of the trucks aren't too bad, most of the time they eventually move over.

Bah, I've got respect for people driving those trucks, if your in that much of hurry that waiting that extra minute for them too pass is too much then you should have left sooner... regardless, they should and are allowed to use the roads how they please, just like you or I.

I'm talking about the ones that sit in the high speed lane. I expect them to move, just like I expect any other driver in any kind of vehicle.
