I sat on the passenger seat and my feet did "squish" -long thinking process made me realize the carpet is full of water Just there, rear and driver side is OK.

Anyone had something smilar, or do i rip off the entire passenger floor upholstery and fill it with a bathroom sealant?

if it smells like coolant than that's probably it. but more likely it is the window gutter is clogged with leaves and water is leaking in through your passenger side fan. it has happened to a lot of people including me, i just fixed mine and my passenger side carpet is still really wet and stinky. the carpet can hold a lot of water! but yea, when you open the hood, directly beneath the windshield is a black plastic strip that runs across the length of the window, you have to take off the plastic fasteners that are holding it on and remove it. then underneath that there is another small plastic piece you have to remove. then you just reach down there with your arm and yank out all the leaves.

there were a ton of leaves in mine it was ridiculous. but yea, if it doesn't smell like coolant, it's a pretty easy fix.

if you need more info you can use the search and search for "leak".

Nah, it's not coolant, it's water. Dirty, but still water. THanks for the tip on the gutter - did as you said and pulled out quite a mix of leaves, weird mud, and some kind of organic goo which started moving by itself when i threw it on the driveway :?

Still drying and sponging the water. Amazing how much of it can get stuck in the carpet... should have a better 0-60 when i dry it :D
