Does anyone have a write up on how to install a push button start for a 1999 ZX2 with manual transmission? I'm thinking this will be easy considering I want to continue to use my key for ignition also.
    Thanks for the help.

well i know how to install it. but i dont know if it will work for the manual. and you could still use key. but it would serve no funtion but to turn on the electrical. so let me know if you want the write up.

I also would like to see something on this. I am a firefighter, and i know its tuff on my car to take off reving it when its 20 degrees outside and has no time to warm up at all. I figured giving it 2 min would help some so a remote start would be nice. O and what would happen if you left it in gear? try to take off on ya?

With the push button ignition (or flip switch) in cold weather you might have some trouble with it. So you will want to install an inline fuse or it will blow out your cabin fuse (lights, radio, ignition). I don't know if it will actually start when in gear. I doubt it unless its in 2nd or 1st i suppose. But then again you should always have your parking brake on anyways. But I will have the full write up after i heal up from surgery tomorrow. SO if you can be patient i can get you a great setup/
