Anybody know the part number for the rubber pad on the clutch pedal?
Or a suitable replacement?

I don't know off hand, but I replaced mine a few years ago and bought two from Ford.
I also bought two from Mazda for my B2200, and discovered they are the exact same part, down to the small details in the mould used to form them!

The Mazda dealer was about a third the price of the Ford dealer.

Edit: I'm thinking that if they are still cheap from Mazda I should buy a spare set.

Mine is laying on the floor of the driver side passenger foot well, keep replacing it but it keeps falling off so f*** it...
Is it new? It wasn't super difficult to get the new ones on, but they shouldn't come off the pedals easily unless they are worn down. I thought about putting grip tape on both the clutch and brake pedal until I realized how cheap new pads were.

In a similar vein, some years ago I wanted to buy the clutch and brake pedal pads for my 1964 Ford car. I had found them in an antique supply catalog, but I happened to be with a friend at the local Ford dealer where he was buying a set for his 1989 F150. They sure looked similar, and had a B9 something part number.... so first used in 1959!
Sure enough they were the correct ones for my '64, and cost just over $5 (for 2!) and were in stock.

So it is always worth checking for price and availability at the dealer. The parts guys sometimes sigh and pout a little looking up old parts though.

Yeah, they are the exact same for Mazda. If you search for "clutch pedal pad ford escort zx2" on Ebay you will get a lot of results. Like this one...

Anyone use any of the various Dorman "help" pads available at the local
auto parts store?
None say they are a fit for Ford or Miata but one must be good.
