heres the deal. When its raining or damp out, my car seems to................. misfire maybe. when im driving it seems to loose power. the engine will rev normal, but the front end seems to drop and acc. slows, then it will pick back up. it doesnt feel like the tranny slipping but just a power loss. My guess is i need new wires cap plugs and rotar. any ideas?

Just FYI:
91+ LXs don't have distributor caps. We've got a sealed coil-pack which cannot get wet.

91-96 GTs have an old-school distributor.

Checking the boots on the plug wires is a good idea to see if there's moisture collecting inside them. If so, a squirt with some 'wire dryer' and a little dielectric grease should help things.

Unless the coil pack is has cracked or become damaged. Then it gets wet and go's for shitz.
