Does anyone know of an actual modification you can do to your antenna so that I don´t have to keep pulling it out and still get a signal? I think the Escort looks weird with the antenna sticking way out, but sometimes I do occasionally listen to the radio.

The guy with the pimped out porsche blue GTX LX at cardomain put his antenna above the rear hatch window, like they are on the newer VW´s and stuff.. it looks really good. I´d do it, but I am refraining from ricing the car out. But it´s not really ricing it out if it looks clean and stock... I guess ...ahem.

With a signal amplifier would I be able to hide the antenna inside the car and shave the antenna mount completely?
I´m planning on going for that complete "shaved" look and this will subtract from my drag co-efficient, but I´ll still be able to listen to the Radio if I want to. :-] ;-)

I´m putting in a full internal antenna...so there is nothing outside anymore.

If anybody could find a FUBA antenna at a boneyard, lmk. I think I´ll mod my scort to have the antenna in the rear sometime.

Since EGTdude decided to block my other thread, I´ll say it here. Beaverboy. I didn´t ask for your opinion, you can think of me what you will, I don´t care about that, because you´re not posting pictures of me on a website having never known me how I am in real life. I´m not going to sit back and allow some 19 year old punk to say crap about me for no apparent reason. You´re right, he did it to get a rise out of me but he got a little more of a rise out of me than he bargained to get, and I won. he took my picture down and apologized (all be it sarcastically) but it doesn´t matter to me anymore...just like your opinion. There...now, I am done.

PS. if you look at his page now it´s completely empty, I guess I won a little bit more than I thought I did, didn´t I?

use lots of duct tape...it works for red-green! i saw him successfully make a variable turning radius car out of a camry wagon and a boat trailor, ONLY USING DUCT TAPE!!! and various random parts of course. it actually worked! looked like something right out of the scrap yard, but it was sw33t!

Of course you´ve never seen them before, that´s why they´re called internal!!! ;-)

dude all you gotta do is drill a frickin hole for where you want the antenna and run the antenna cable through it you will need an extension so that it will reach the factory location they make those and sell them. mount it where you want you would have to pull the headliner and stuff like that to run the cable up to where it is factory but it shouldnt be that hard.

try a focus one!
there small, and the radio hook up should be the same! just get an extension! there like what 3-4 inches tall!
