does anyone know if the aftermarket pods that are made for aftermarket headunits are supossed to light up the HVAC controls? mine does not light up when the headlights are on.....

I would suspect either something is unplugged, lights are burnt out or a ground is missing. Look at aircraft supply stores for insturmenrt lights.
