I have had great success with both of my sunroofs. You just have to make sure that you don't cut into the support brackets on the roof. Mine were in an "H" shape so I was good to go. You can see them here.

It's worth it because it allows more natural light in the Escort, thus making it seem roomier.

(I've had mine for about two years and never leaked once!) It's airtight.

The total cost for both was $700. I don't know the brand or style....I just saw it in a shop and had them put two of them in.

Definitely go to a shop. I have no experience in sawing through metal evenly.
