I'm getting ready to buy an accord body kit (front bumper & side-skirts) from a guy in my car club for $200. I already know that I'm going to need to shorten the side-skirts to make them fit, but what do I need to do to mount the bumper. We already test fitted the bumper and it was the same width as the stock bumper, I just need to know what modifacations need to be done.
We have most of the tools for body work and can get almost anything else we need, so thats not a problem.

G'luck, I know that HitNCry used an accord bodykit to make his buddyclub set up. He usually hangs on ERDT, so if you run into any probs contact him.

I hade to add a few braces to make it firm but i used a civic bumper in the back MAJOR head ache had to shave the seems :roll:

I shortened the width on the front and molded it. The rear on mile was shortened in width, but is an overlay for my stock. I had to recut the kit in the wheel well area in the rear too.

The fronts was just a few braces but I went wit a Civic rear not to have to cut But I shaved and molded the bumper to eliminate the seem.

looks cool...but your 3rd brakelight isnt working, you should get that fixed...it's simple...two screws and replace the bulb. :wink:

In the pic of your track ticket...which one did you run? 15.6 or 15.2??
oh and what did that Civic in front of you run? It looks like mine but I cant tell if it was an Si, EX, LX or DX. :wink:

james sorry i didn't get back to you sooner. the brake light was burnt out but i fixed it about the sametime you said something. the civic in front of me said he was running mid 13's. but i never saw him even hit a 14 so i call BS. in that pic i ran a 15.5 against that prelude who hit a 14.999.
