Hello
I have a 1997 Mercury Tracer a disguised Escort.
The AC will work but poorly. The Ingoing tubing from the AC compressor are Very cold and making condensation. But there is very little cold air that gets transferred to the blower. Its almost like something is not turning off the heat??? Or something is blocking actions from happening.
Any help is appreciated.
When I tried to get it going a while back it wouldn't work. I found a thread on jumping the plug at the computer I believe So that has been done. I don't remember many details about that part though.
Thanks

OK with some searching on the forum I found a picture of what I need to look for and easily found the blend door. It seems to be working properly.
Also the incoming AC line is sweating and bringing in plenty of cool air.
What is the next thing to look for THANKS!!

Can you hear/see a/c clutch cycling? Maybe time to put gauges on it to see what the pressures are, since cold pipe may not be cold enough.
