It seems as though my ABS light is sometimes turning on and staying on while driving. It's not when it's raining or muddy, or if under extreme braking, it just randomly turns on and stays on until I turn the car off. It doesn't stay on when the car starts, just does the normal flash on flash off.


My baby is a 1999 Ford Escort Sport with 28,xxx miles on it.

It means the module is detecting a fault at either one of the sensors or some lose of corroded wiring much of the time the wiring is at fault.
I suggest you check all connections from the speed sensors and the connections at the module. clean them if necessary.
