I am thinking of building a drag only 00 ZX2 with a turbo Zetec engine (I have the long rear clip now that I will be tube framing and caging) I may try my hand at building a CF nose but i will likely just buy a 03 nose and upgrade to that. I have a good friend that works for Livernois Engineering, rumor has it that they are contemplating a big horsepower cam and turbo system.
I build $2000.00 race cars for a hobby and annually take them down to Florida for the Grassroots Motorsports $200x Challenge. I am not brand specific, I don't care that much! I have raced Merkurs and Mustangs, Camaros and Couriers. The current car is a 1996 GMC Jimmy (rebodied to look like a '98) with a megasquirt injected 406, a 700r4, 4.10 gears, gutted and chopped up but still presentable. Plan on 11.0s in the 130s, we'll see.
