i went to the local pick and pull the other day to get a motor mount bolt and a headlight assembly for my sisters 89 LX. while I was there i found 2 mercury lynxs, with the clear turnsignals, and i swiped them right off. I also found a rear wiper assembly on an 86 egt that i am going back down today for. The wiper is one of two options my car DOESNT have, the other being a sunroof. BUT none of that compared to my next find... a Merkur XR4TI, with the turbo intact and unpicked:-o . Finally, ill be able to turbo my escort!! this is where you guys come in. if you turbo guys have any tips, or helpful hints for my turbo install, that would be much appreciated. The thing is that i wont be doing this until at least next summer, when i have enough money for a second car, and so i can gather ALL the parts i need. THanks for your help guys!!

The merkur manifold doesn´t fit the escort engine. You can use mostly all the other stuff but you still need the turbo manifold off an old GT or an RS from the UK.
