Let your car warm up, what is your AFR at idle.

Secondly with the car running unplug the Vac line to your FPR let it run for a bit with the hose plugged with your finger. What is your AFR at this point?

think I am having issues with it. I can idle fine at 14-15 smooth as hell. But every once in a while seems like it gets erratic. Also have problems with the fuel system getting a vapor lock when it is really low on fuel. And it is not a leak near the fuel pump.

Most people hit a corner loose power and regain it. I don't I completly die and I either have to wait a few minutes and try again or remove fuel line from the fuel pump.

When I unplug the FPR at idle the idle should also change as it should start to load up, but nothing happens.

I also don't have the tools thatt I used to so a fuel pressure tester, or a vac pump are out of the question.

seems mine runs worse when i am in the high to mid 13's at idle. I also don't have my IAT hooked up and is completely blocked off.

stepper motor is not hooked up..... at all completely plugged off. But even still it would have no effect, not even sure why I added that.

    As for
There are many common problems with this but most regain power. There are numerous write ups on here about these, as they will not be covered here for this issue. So just to make sure that you have the others covered.

My gtx idles at 1200-1500rpms depending on the temp. and its A/F ratio bounces between 14 and 15 and it misfires intermitently(sp). Once you get into the throttle it runs fine on all four cylinders but at idle it stutters here and there. I might try adjusting the VAM rich at idle a few clicks to see if this changes.

off topic but why do you have it idling so high?

    -Steve

I am going to try another fuel pump assembly unit tomorrow and see if anything changes.

Today I changed the entire pump assembly from a 96 LX, using the stock pump from that car and the problem has gone away, or so it seems at this point. Looking at my 255 pump it looked as if there was a screw or something that went in to top of it that was not there anymore. I dunno, when we have a warmer day I am going to go out and make sure that it was the pump and not something else.
