I have an '82 EXP which has been sitting for over a decade in the Arizona desert and the A/C hoses are less than great. The low pressure side hose and fittings have been kind of destroyed and I need to find these pieces. I realize I can take the old hose down to have a "new one" installed, but I would like to find one that is in decent shape with all of the original fittings.
Is there somewhere I don't yet know of that might have used or new parts for this car?
Thanks for any assistance,
Dale

The usual method is to get new hoses put onto your old metal fittings. They have to saw off the old ferrule, install a new hose along with a new ferrule, then swage the ferrule down tight over the hose.
One problem having such an old and not-s0-common vehicle, is that its not likely anyone is going to have 'new' hoses made up and lying around.

I realize the hoses can be made up, my problem is the aluminum fitting at the compressor side of the hose is damaged and I need to find one of those, or a good used one. That is what I was hoping to find.
