Actually I am planning on alot more to the car including a body kit and silver carbon fiber hood. But it will all be done tastefully and wont look like a Fast and the Furious reject.

Have you seen the body kits for the 3rd gens? While I will agree they aren't for everybody, when you live in an area where you cant go anywhere without seeing an escort you try to be a little different. And as there arent any 3rd gens with bodykits (not many other Scorts with them either) I will be the first. And with the shows I go to I want something that will stand out more.
As for "Black Widow". It is kind of the theme for the car. Besides ther is such a thing as a red black widow. It used to be called the "Killer Tomato".

Thank for the comment.

Thanks I just hope to see more 3rd gens that don't look like off roaders.
Ford has a bad habit of looking like they are on lift kits. Just take a look at the SN95 mustangs for example.

99+ GTs look pretty high as well, just dpends on the angle you're looking at it. but those are pony cars. :)

I might eventually try my luck with a 3rd gen... yours is looking very inviting right now.

The only thing about 3rd gens is that while yes it has more power it also has more weight. And the sound that the Split Port Induction makes when it kicks in is cool, and will sound better with the cold air system (I will lose a small amount of low end torque though). And alot of the older Escort parts fit too.

i was just lookin at your cardomain site... that body kit you have picked out isn't too bad... i changed my mind, i think it'd look pretty good on your car. and I'm sorry some kid decided your car was his personal Best Buy. I know how that feels :(

Hey life sucks sometimes, but I will get over it and the sytem will be better when I can build it up again. And unless you do close inspection you cant even tell my door was ripped apart. Took 2 people to put it back into place and it works fine. I had to go to the junk yard to find my a/c controls and I got lucky and found the stereo mounting bezel also.
The car has an alarm but we had some effects here from the hurricane that came up through Mexico and my horn shorted out 2 days before the break-in(it was full of water).

Thanks for checking out my site.

Too bad you are getting rid of the GT, but the Civic is a good car with lots of potential. Too bad everyone seems to have them. I have been trying to fing a rear sway bar from the old GT's to put on my 3rd gen.
