hey guys..i'm parting out my 96 lx. It has 270km on it. Everything is in good mechanical order except for one dropped valve seat.

Theres rust on both sides of the rear fenders but the fronts are in perfect condition. The spoiler, side mirrors also in perfect condition..back windows also for sale..Rear brakes still have 80% pads left..

Also have black door/window opening handles inside i got from a protege..

Hey how about the hazard switch assembly?

Nikki's '96LX needs one to pass inspection and I think the one we need only came on '96 and late '95. Would you be willing to disassemble the steering column to get us this part?

Last couple times we went to the JY they didn't have any new enough Escorts.

Are the Escort mud flaps in good enough shape?

Sorry but the hazard button broke off mine, and i have a generic switch customized on the dash. When i get the other escort later this month i might want to replace it with mine since i love the mock up i did. I'll send u a pm once i do.
The mud flaps i shall be keeping..

I think your car is too nice to part out. I'd find someone interested in putting in a new engine.

At least on the outside it's way nicer than mine.

Thanks bud.. i agree to, but i dont think anyone wants to buy the whole car..it would have to be towed to their place lol..But hey if anyones interested i can sell as a whole, let me know

I agree with zzyzzx. I just dont think you'll get as much for parting it out as you would if you sold it as a whole for some one to fix.

Did you try to find a replacment motor?

How much for that authentic GT grille (hehe)?

What about the struts? How old are they?

And I might be interested in the wiper transmission, if there is no play in it.. oh yeah.. and the rear defroster switch (if it works).

Everything is in mint shape except the dropped valve seat in the engine.
The wiper motor is like brand new as well as the defroster switch. I'll pm you about the grill

I was joking about the grill. Not interested in the wiper motor itself, but in the wiper transmission. I noticed you're in toronto though so shipping would make it cost prohibitive.

I am interested in the defroster switch though. It's small enough you could probably just mail it here, but again I can probably find it cheaper closer by.
