I have a 91 escort with 177,000 miles. It still has the orginal clutch and is starting to go bad because it is slipping. I can get a clutch kit for 110$ but I know how hard it is to change. Otherwise, the car runs great. So, do you think it would be worth changing the clutch? The car has some body rust, I was going to fix the rust and paint it but now I'm not doing anything until I decide If I'm going to change the clutch.

Do the clutch, it will be worth it to still have the car. Doing a clutch isn't exactly easy, but if you can pull a trans, go for it!
