got the car washed up yesterday. Put in the new SPI controller a few days ago & cleaned up all the wiring in the engine bay. more pics to follow as I continue working on this car! Was lucky enough to snag a brand new pair of the GT fog lights on ebay. will probably get those tomorrow.

No problem, I just couldn't bring myself to drill holes in my perfect GT bumper.

lol i have the exact same floor jack. i have never seen anyone drop the motor on a escort like that. i have seen it done like that on a tarus. I just finished up most of the interior on my scort. clean on the inside other than the headliner and sun visors. Brakes are a little bit soft but i just have to bleed again. other than that its running strong with a clean interior. will be starting body work soon.
keep us up on the bp swap

Just thought I'd stop by and see what was going on with my old car. I sure do miss it, but I'm glad it's got a good home. Can't believe it's going to get BP swapped, that ought to be pretty cool.

I still have all the rest of those parts you couldn't take with you when you got the car, and you're welcome to come get them anytime. I could meet you at the PA/OH border or something if you want. Txt me because I don't really get on here anymore.

Here's an update. Cars still running strong. No bp yet. Still need to get a few things in order before I do the swap. May get it over the fall/winter if my gt's rear end is fixed soon. Also the inverter/control box went out on the white face gauges about a month ago. Got tired of not being able to see anything at night. So ordered a new inverter and some leds because the needles and trip weren't lighting up either. Used a sharpie to get red needles not perfect cause all I had was a super fine sharpie. I'll stop by the store tomorrow after work to grab a real sharpie. And finally here are the results of the sharpie.

Looks good. I thought you had a GT from before. Are you going to finally go turbo? Let me know if you do, i have parts that you could have for pretty cheap. The pony looks great.

Glad you fixed the cluster, that always drove me nuts. If I had it to do all over again, I would have never installed those reverse glow gauges! I replaced the inverter a MINIMUM of three times, so the one you just bought is the 4th or 5th.

Also, I'm driving to Ohio pretty much every other weekend now (Akron area) so setting up a day for me to meet you with the parts won't be a problem. Except the bumpers... obviously they don't fit inside my dumb Kia.
