The manifold is vj20. The flange is a t3. I will have to weld the t3 flange to my header for it to work. I think i will add a piece of tubing between the header and t3 flange so i can habe my bypass for an external wastegate. Header and flange is from ebay.

No, the B6T that came in the Laser TX3 Turbo had a 78mm bore, whereas the 1.8l BP found in the Escort GT has an 83mm bore. The BP is a completely different block than the B6 platform, and is not just a bored/stroked B6.

The Ford Laser Ghia, S, and GLi models (89-94) had the B8 1.8l, the Laser TX3 was a BP (1.8l).

They both appear to be 83mm bore and 85mm stroke engines, but I'm not 100% sure if the pistons are compatible between the two.

Also is a stock oil pump sufficient for 250-275 hp?

I wouldn't trust it honestly. I highly recommend the Boundary Engineering billet oil pump. It's what I plan to run in my build that's currently in the planning stages.

As for the throttle body, I do not believe so, because it does not look to have an IAC port built in.

you can use the b6t rods as they are stronger and a direct swap to the 1.8L bp. but the pistons are not the same.
the stock oil pump will do you just fin in upwards of 300hp.
unless you are shooting for 400+ the stock throttle body will be perfectly fine.

I've gotten behind a little bit. I drove the car last week with the stock motor in and it left me stranded on the side of the road. Did some checking and I can't connect to my computer with my laptop any more. I'm going to reflash it tonight and see if that fixes it. If not I might part out everything I've got and find another project. This one has tested my patience.

Custom stuff usually requires quite a bit of patience. I've been working on the BP swap for my wagon now for around 6 months. Doesn't help it's down at my parents, so any work I do takes a 2 hour drive down and a weekend commitment- but no junkyard/salvage yards nearby, so if a missing part/broken piece holds me up, sometimes the whole weekend is shot at that point.

That being said, I'm excited to be getting close to starting it (hopefully in a week and a half maybe? Just need to fill the coolant, finish hooking up some electrical/battery/engine bay, and finishing repinning/running wires from the engine harness inside the cabin. After that, just have to get the fenders/bumper/lights back on, dash/console back together, put on my new Stainless braided brake lines I just ordered, and put on the new Fuel Filler Neck-to-tank hose I picked up.

Don't give up man. Before this wagon I picked up in 2015, I had gotten out of Escorts back in like 07, and I regretted that for YEARS.

Shit, my wagon has been a driving project for 20 yrs, it's never done. It's been through 2, 1.9's, a 1. 8 swap, which its on its 2nd one and now doing the GT-R swap. It's had a ricer body kit, now it's going stock GT bumper(still trying to find one) and sides. It's went for all show no go to stockish looks and hopefully soon whooping ass and taking names.
