So ive been thinking of doing a Escort Project, i want to GT-X it, but i was wondering since the gt-x comes with a awd transmission could i set a escort up with awd? if so what materials would that require?

There's been a few attempts to do so, but it requires a lot of fabrication. From what I understand, cars equipped with the GTX (or its more powerful brother, the GTR) have the frame rails a little further apart.

I think I remember seeing a post on here where someone was successful, but I can't seem to find it right now.

Completely possible if you have disposable funds to drop on all the custom work that will need to be done. Casey is correct that the inner frame rails are further apart on the gtx/gtr. So far there is only one Tracer that has completed the AWD conversion. He posted his build for it not that long ago and it covers all of the stuff he had to do in order for it to work. This is by no means an entry level task :lol:
