looking for anyone that has turboed a GT 1.9 L... my brother and I own 4 1st gen escorts, given away 7 more... We want to turbo the 1.9L GT engine and if anyone has any diagrams, or tips... thanks

There are only umpteen thousand threads on this subject. Do a search, do some reading, search some more, read A LOT MORE did I mention read some more, yeah, well, read some more, then, when you think you got it, read some more and then start asking questions.

Adding to this: I agree.

Just do a search for "Turbo" on the 1st gen section, you'll get some good info. Also, the forced induction section, I believe, has a good sticky for turbo manifold options for the CVH. I went with the JGS one. I'm currently buying parts and slowing putting together a turbo engine.

Learning myself that there is no aftermarket support. Got a turbo off a turbo probe, probably not big enough for what I want but have to start somewhere. My opinion the most important thing is knowing what you want from your car. Be patient and ask questions... there is no such thing as a stupid one.
